is made out of four distinct layers depicting various statistical features.
The background layer displays the absolute difference between black and white pieces on every square. The distinct chessboard pattern is created by splitting, offsetting and scaling the piece distribution based on location on the board. Color vibrance scales with the rarity of the move. Rare moves are more colorful.
The origin layer highlights all squares a moving piece came from in one of the positions containing the shown move. The colormapping is based on the frequency a target squares occurs.
On every square each piece is drawn based on its relative occurrence within all positions containing the shown move.
The frame comes in three color variants displaying wether a move checks, mates or does neither.
